The Society is committed to enhancing knowledge, fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals, and promoting excellence in intensive care practice.

Hong Kong Society of Critical Care Meetup Dinner was held on 5 May, 2025 at Chinese Club. A full house of guests enjoyed the evening.

Education University of Hong Kong Teaching Practice Scholarship

On On NOV 15, 2025, the Foundation has presented the first Teaching Practice Scholarship to Mr. Ling Wai Hong, a year 5 student who is completing his Bachelor.

About Hong Kong Society of Critical Care

The Hong Kong Society of Critical Care Medicine (HKSCCM) was formally established on 19 May 1983.

Our objectives are:

  • To liaise with similar organisations overseas and to promote exchange of expertise and information.
  • To improve co-operation, liaison, and comradeship of all the health care workers involved in the practice of critical care medicine in Hong Kong.
  • To advance knowledge in Critical Care Medicine in Hong Kong.
  • To provide expert advice, as and when required, to other organisations on matters pertaining to critical care medicine in Hong Kong.
